TSK - The South End of Water St.
I had the opportunity to photograph Windom Kimsey recently, owner of TSK Architects. A great individual who has a great vision for what Water St could become. He and his family are very much invested the success of Water St & Henderson in general. If you are looking for a great designer then you need to look at Widom's record it says it all. Check them out at http://www.tska.com or on their FB page https://www.facebook.com/tatesnyderkimsey
Along with being the President & CEO of TSK Architects and Co-Owner of Public Works Coffee Bar, Windom Kimsey is also a leading member in Henderson’s community. With a vision to revitalize Downtown Henderson and create a walkable, urban experience, Kimsey collaborated with the City of Henderson’s redevelopment agency on the project which is now known as South end on Water.
South end on Water is a phased, mixed-use, urban infill redevelopment effort on Water Street, which is the historic main street of Downtown Henderson. It includes office space that houses TSK’s growing firm and Landscape Architecture firm, Lage Design. It also includes retail space where Public Works Coffee Bar resides, as well as the housing development, where Kimsey and his family will be permanently relocating, which broke ground in December 2018 and will be completed in January 2019.
Since the conception of South end on Water, Windom Kimsey has further immersed himself in the community by becoming the Chair of the Henderson Development Association and a member of the City of Henderson’s Arts and Cultural Advisory Council. He has become a great example of taking a longstanding idea and bringing it into conception. As stated by Debra March, Mayor of Henderson, “the personal commitment of Windom Kimsey as both a business owner and soon-to-be resident of Water Street, has been a catalyst for business investment and social activity in Henderson’s burgeoning downtown area.”
